Default Factory Diverter Valve Spec

I may just be a bad "Searcher" but I cant find any specs on the diverter valve/bypass valve. I just want to know what boost pressure in PSI the stock valve maxes out at. I have a old chip in my car can't remember which one previous owner installed it but its one that came with wastegate shims. My factory boost gauge pegs at 2 bar so I hooked up a VDO gauge for a sanity check and its right at about 15lbs at max boost. I just want to make sure my factory bypass valve is handling this properly or if I should get a Forge with the valve spring kit. Car is 1986 951, all stock minus chip and wastegate shims.

Thanks,
Tyler

If it's in good condition it'll hold just fine. Boost pressure holds the valve closed, so more boost = more force keeping it closed. OTOH if it's aged or warped it may be leaking all the time. Only a pressurized boost leak test will show if it's holding or not.

If you take it out and blow in any port, air should not come out of any other port....if it does, it's busted.
