if it wasn't for this forum i'd have dumped off my 951 two years ago. i've met some great folks, picked up parts for cheap, and learned so much about these damn cars... this is why i gladly pay for my subscription. barrier to entry FTW!

I agree completely. When I sold my 911 and became solely a 951 owner, I made the switch to R/L.
However, the 911 Technical Forum over there is the bomb if you have an aircooled 911, especially a longhood or an impact bumper. The level of work some people are doing in their garages is amazing. Truthfully, it would be nice to see more of these sort of restoration or well done mod threads than the oh-so-common part out threads we get. They were great sources of inspiration...

I started to throw some rocks but this isn't the top of the page so....no. I've been on a lot of other car forums including the other P car ones. This is the only one I sort of live on. Heck, it's got it all regardless if need model specific help, chat, politics or buy and sell. Rennlist is worth the cost of membership. Oh what the heck....I sometimes check in on this one for tech info but most the users are "should I drive my Cayman in the rain.....and; what kind of polish should I use if I should decided to wax my own car?" Check book boys, few wrenches. http://www.planet-9.com/cayman-boxster-chat/
