Hello. Well I'm in the process of replacing my radiator fans.... I'm puzzled.. I have the new fans in place and ready to bolt in... Now it seems they're about an inch to short of lining up on mounting points?? I'm using the exact same fans... Same part number and everything.. I cant see where I may have misaligned mounting tabs because they are part of the radiator right...? I must be missing something here... UGGGHHH!

sounds like you have the fan assembly off a NA car. They are shorter than the turbo set.

You are right. Checked PN's again. Mine ends in 00 not 06. Damn. I assumed fans out of an '87 S would be identical. They looked identical on ebay... Oh well I'll find another.... Thought I was crazy for a second there... They're just a hair different. Maybe 1/2" too short....

I went ahead and bought another from ebay.. It was from Precision. I hope he sends a decent one... The auction stated "stock photo".. That always worries me.....
