when i bought the car the needle was stuck all the way to the top just a few days ago the needle started to jump around and on throttle it stays pined up

If the needle is jumping around really fast, you will want to check the electrical connections between the sending unit and the gauge. The gauge will peg at 5+bar if it looses signal from the sending unit.

If the movement is a little more gradual, it could be an oiling issue. More than likely its electrical though.

thank you, is the sending unit located under by the oil filter?

Yes. Smallish can shaped thing that treads in to the oil thermostat/filter housing, just below the filter and between the engine an body rail. There will be two wires connected to it. One is for the pressure gauge, the other for the oil pressure warning light.

yeah, same bouncing thing happened to me. changed the sending unit and all is good!
