DO IT! I have had nothing but luck covering my turbos on anything from Snowmobiles to Diesels.

Wrapping will also make perfect conditions for a fire after the insulation is soaked with oil and comes to flame temperature.

If you are worried about a fire on a fiberglass wrap because of oil soaking on a turbo you should be worried about the turbo leaking oil. just saying... everyone has an opinion but the factory location will heat up the intake like crazy so high intake temps = detonation so ???

I know a couple of folks who have done that, but I can't say what, if anything, the benefits were.
