Specific Porterfield R4S Brake Pad question
I have heard of multiple stories of the R4 pads (race) coming in the R4S (street) box. For a WRX the R4S street pad has beveled edges and R4 Race pad does not. Mine do not have beveled edges and I want to make sure they're not R4's. There is no writing on the pad itself. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Emailed Porterfield and answered my own question. The R4S comes with a backing shim and the R4 race pad does not. Also the R4 race pad has some numbers on the back of the pad and the R4S does not.
