Yea man that did the same thing to a piston that I let sit over night and now it feels like the degreaser ate a few thousand of metal or something.

2016-2017 - Purple Power destroyed my pressure washer
Purchased Ryiobi 2000 psi
used Simple Green, ran out of it, so used Purple power. Sadly, it took off partial color on my Trex decking (not happy about that)
and did take off old grey paint from my back concrete patio (happy about that), but then a day later, my engine would not start,
Repeat my $200 Engine would not start.
I had read through all the manual, which said to NOT use (of course) paint thinner, acetone, chemicals as such (no brainer, but some
need this)
But purple power is a soap - or so I thought.
I am so sorry for what it did to your engine, but now I know what it did to my machine.
