Thanks, you can probably see where I ran out of Argon.

Olli, it's actually Stone Gray..bad pictures. You do amazing work by the way, I hope your sons realize how fortunate they are. I'm glad to see that you are passing along your skills and attention to detail.

Thanks Kevin.

Diamond Blue looks in certain light a lot of like Stone Gray does. We are now in nice phase of our project. It's nice to bolt on new or reconditioned parts to 951'S clean body

Nice work Kevin, looks good. I passed the information over to my fabricators so we will add that to our builds from now on. I appreciate the feedback and let me know how it all works out.
Thanks and enjoy

Well it's finally done, and I really like the exhaust. The turbo spools sooner, and it's really not noticeably louder than it was with the testpipe, just a little lower tone.

Big thanks to Alex at Fabspeed for sending me a missing clamp at no charge. I bought the exhaust from a member here so he had no reason to give it to me free except for great customer service.

I expected it to run leaner with more flow, which it does. It looks like I need to add 3 or 4 points across the board, but my old laptop is gone so I'm waiting for a USB-Serial converter cable to arrive for the new one.

One thing that doesn't make sense to me is that my boost is reading about 12 instead of 15 as it was before on high boost. That's OK for now and I only get 1 knock count with it running lean.

Once I correct the AFR I'll turn it up, but can anyone explain why boost would be lower with a better flowing exhaust? I expected the opposite. Maybe I turned it down in anticipation of higher boost when I started 2 years ago and forgot.

Kevin

kevincnc- Your car looks great. Really like that color. The fabspeed exhaust is something to behold when you first get your hands on it. I have been very happy with mine. Even made a review thread:

Hey Kevin,

Glad to see you got it together. Just enough time to play a bit before it snows.

Hey Eric,
Your car is looking great from what I see in the avatar. I took mine up the peaks yesterday evening before dark with my wife and it was great. She squealed a few times (the wife) but we both had fun. Hope everything's good there.

It doesn't look quite as good in person right now but I have some projects in the works that will fix that.
I've never taken a fun car up the peaks. That had to be a great time.

Things are good here, just busy. I haven't been over to Jeremy's place in over 2 years.
