I apologize for the long delay and disappearance of Pilkington on the forums. This should not have happened. We had some position changes and large projects that have set us back on finalizing the clamp kit. I have emailed our Engineering department for an update and will let you know when I hear back.
Thanks,

Jonathan,
It's been a while since we (Porsche community on rennlist) last heard from you on this. Is there any update on the fix to the clamps that are getting more lose every day?
I have removed mine and replaced it with the original solid top until i can be assured that the it will stay on.

I'm glad a response more recent than last July's. The clamps on mine aren't under any tension at all anymore, and I'm going to have to put in the stock top or my old Saratoga.

Ya know, for the most part I really hate lawyers,
(well maybe except one I know)
and the litigious society we live in.
All they ever do is sue this guy or company or that guy because of that cup of coffee they were stupid enough to spill on them self,
but if there was ever a need for a class action suite this would be it !!

If people were getting hurt, and then the company wasn't responding quickly, then maybe.
I have one too, but I haven't used it enough to experience the problem so I haven't needed to find a solution yet.

Premium product and guarantee???
I have shoes sitting in my closest as well and they lasted longer.
I get your point though, I could make this work, just too pissed to actually play with it. The weatherstripping is all ready falling off of the glass as well. Must be the heat in the closet.
