I was told by my contact at Pilkington, Chen; that Ohio will Mfg these tops with the original logos. Chen called me back to tell me that they found the origianl tooling for these tops. I have given my contacts phone number to a few out there who are willing to lend them their tops to make sure the product they make is perfect. They plan on making a minumum of 100 units to start. Look I can not guarantee anything here, but can only forward what I am told. If we can do this, we all will benefit. If they can not, nothing is lost here. Let all keep our fingers crossed that this pans out the way we would like. I will speak to my contact today and tell them, at this time i beleive we can sell 100 units without delay. i will buy as many to keep this promise. I hope you all can benefit from my efforts. There is nothing in this for me, except a new top at a good price; just like you.

Don't get me too excited. I told my fiance about this and she thought it was really cool idea. If she is on board with it then I am definitely down. I guess this means something else that will push back my rear hatch reseal.

This makes me wish my turbo had the sunroof (well, not really!).

I might be interested in a powered unit for my S2, pending on price.

This would be a great part to have, but since I hardly use the S2 these days I couldn't justify paying "too much"... Concerned with costs for shipping overseas too and even more concerned with probably getting it broken.

Do these tops tilt and remove same as factory roof ?

Is there difference between '86 models and later ? I know the seals changed.

I've got a bronze tinted one but wanted a blue tint, so I'd be up for one if the price is right.
