89 turbo S feeler
Hi Guys, I have a friend who has a friend with an 89 turbo S. It is stock except for an unknown chip. It is a 2 owner car garage kept car. I have not seen it in person but I'm told it is pretty nice. It has 140k on it. What would you guys expect the market to be like for this car? I know what he is wanting and I may buy it, drive it for a while and sell it. The color is silver rose and I'm just looking for some opinions on this one.
Thanks!
Thanks!

If you decide to pass on it, I might be interested, based on if everything works like the A\C and a decent service history. Do you have any pics and ball park price?

It may be just silver then. Good to know the market and what some of them are going for. I really don't NEED another toy car but it would be nice to have for some time. I really love these cars.

Haha Sean I totally thought you were selling your car. I damn near had a heart attack; I was about to buy a plane ticket to Mongolia and beat these impure thoughts out of you.
Edit: then I saw the car you were asking about had 140k and I realized it couldn't possibly be your car.... hahahahaha

Technically there were no turbo S made in 89, only 88 although all 89 were the same as S, they were not called an S. Silver Rose was only for 1988 Turbo S. Originally all 1988 turbo S came only in the silver rose color with later 1988 S in various colors.
Though we all know its the same car, from a collecters standpoint, a true 1988 Turbo S is worth considerably more than a 1989. The 944 Turbo S was only made for half a model year. There is no such thing as a 1989 Turbo S.
