Lart will always be the "butcher of Bell".

Being the "butcher" may not be the job everyone admires but you don't get prime steaks without the butcher.

I've gotten several parts from him and every transaction has been fast and hassle free. He has gone way above and beyond with parts for me a few times.
I don't know any other vendor in the 944/951 world that offers the kind of guarantee that Lart does.

Broke a record today from the time the listing was posted to "This posting has been deleted by its author". took less than 10 minutes, 1987 944 turbo with 80k miles, it has a salvage title but it runs, but it's going to be lartherized regardless.

Lart has saved me big bucks several times. Smooth transactions, quick shipping, great parts.

We need to get the non-running examples out of the wrong hands and into the hands of folks that appreciate the car - either as whole cars or as parts. If you surf C/L - you can find beat up 951's all day for 4500 bucks or even cheaper if they aren't running - it brings down the value of the whole group.

Once folks realize what a POS the first boxster / 996 models are, (Can you say "Disposable $14k engines?" ) the 951 should start increasing in value - but there are still too many out there that need to be "Lart-ed" out.

I say part 'em or convert them into track cars as quick as you can !

but this car looked great (like a minute or two ago).

(sad) the cars are worth way more chopped to the bone.

btw, the guy in shelton's idea of preserving a windshield is to take a sawzall to the tub and cut around,

leaving a nearly impossible job of seperating the windshield from the framework without breaking it.

I think he may mean $4000 for an update/retrofit... are you talking about $1500 just to repair to 'original' spec?

You'd think they'd be thanking you Lart. After all you give much needed parts to those worth saving and everyone's car's get an increase in value as they get more and more rare.
