my tax return will be ****, since I don't work full time or get payed good, but I'm only 19. I still need a rogue tune, coil-overs, paint and body work, tires, little things.

I just came up with the good idea for this season – I am going to change the number on the track car to “401K”.
Then I will have a line item on my tax return that shows a lot of money going towards my 401K!

Not if it works, should pass vacuum when the engine is up to temp and block it when the engine is cold.

can you explain this a bit more. I have always noticed that my 951 has less vacuum at idle when the motor is cold. When it warms up, I have more vacuum

The check valve is a heat activated valve that allows gas tank fumes to pass into the engine when it is warm.

Different subject but most engine will make more vacuum as they warm up, everything expands and seals up better,

No tax return for me...sending a fat check to the gov that would've covered a very nice set of coilovers

That may be true to a small extent – but the real answer is that when the engine is cold is requires more air and fuel to run well (there is more drag on the cold engine and the combustion is not as efficient) – so the idle air motor will open up a little more and that will make the vacuum drop.

Well at least I made interest on it while I had it, unlike them just holding onto your money for a year and not giving you any interest. At least I don't have state income taxes to deal with.

Yes if you have any debt it is silly to let the government use your money all year. And if you have credit card debt (average of like 15% interest) it is way worse. If you get $3k back on your tax return and owe money on a credit card, you could save around $200 in credit card interest if you had your deductions set right and used that money to pay down your consumer debt each month. Otherwise not only does the government not give you any interest, you are paying 15% on what they are holding. Ow.

Well I just figured if I were to replace the lines why not also replace the valve. I wouldn't mind finding some used 911 wheels or such either if i can. If not I think I will just sand and paint my phone dials and buys some new tires. Right now the car has the 205 front and 225 rears. I think its easiest to find tires for 18s though.
