Before you ask, yes I have searched. Do 996 seats fit in our cars? I've read they sit too high,some say this can be fixed,I've heard they dont wire straight together? How difficult is it? Can a shop mod brackets/seat rail?

No they don't fit. If you are willing to ewither do the fab work yourself or pay someone else, then anything is possible. The seats in our cars are already outstanding, when reupholstered, so I can't see wasting the money, but everyone is different.

IIRC the biggest issue with fitting them is access to the rear seat area is cut off because the seat backs will meet the roof before they move forward.... but the rails and mounts CAN be made to work.

Pontifex on here had them (might still have them, although when I saw his car he had fitted racing seats)
