Just noticed a local gas station which started to sell pure gas, no ethanol, and was wondering if there are any benefits for my 1989 Turbo? The station is charging $.21 extra for 100% gas. Thought about fuel economy and better performance but not up to date with latest. Thanks Gordy

I almost always try to buy 93 octane pure gas for the toys. I can easily find during my weekend fun-runs in the Wisconsin area. Performance is the same to me. Your MPG's will increase about 10%. This off-sets the price premium, if you care about that.
I use this web site all the time:

One funnybutnotsofunny thing I find with E-10, is that they sell that crap at the exact same price as regular gas. Now the sticker might say it has a bit higher octane rating on the machine, but the fact is, you're using cheaper to produce gas, and you'll be filling up more often with worse mileage. That gas is sold as a scam IMO.
