Where is Derrek from Huntley???
The Huntley crew and me have been off the map for a bit and wanted to just post a quick one for the list. Huntley Racing started its move to our new location last Monday (just up the street to a nicer facility). Our Internet, phones, fax, dyno, lift and other equipment have been off line at least partially if not altogether since then. Even though things were well planned a few wrenches always get in thrown in!! The big one was that my wife went into labor yesterday morning with our daughter Daria Lindsey Khajavi. She was born at 2:39 PM and is a whopping 8lbs 14oz, 19.5" long! Mom and baby are fine; Dad hasn’t slept and finally just ate 1/2 a sandwich since Sunday!! I will get back to all my calls, e-mail, faxes and such over the next few days. Thanks for your understanding guys/gals! Ok, it's back to the hospital for me!

Lindsey, was my cousin who died this year after a long battle with cancer. She was 36 years old. She led a rough life after being hit by a car at age nine and dealing with the multiple fractures left her with a bad limp and pain the rest of her life. She got breast cancer 8 years ago and had a masectomy and survived but later contracted bone marrow cancer and fought on for a few years before she passed on. She was the most kind person I have ever known and it made the choice of my daughter’s middle name quite easy. She will be missed tremendously but I can see a bit of here in my babies smile.
