16 psi and holding strong. Stock turbo.

Get a tial wastegate and you will be able to hold boost much better. Also if you have exhaust leaks it will kill the turbo performance. the k26 is capable of 280 rwhp at 18 psi or higher boost levels with a free up intake and exhaust.A ebc can control the fluctuating boost curve.

I have a electronic boost controller with 2 presets. One is set for 10psi and the other is set at 15-16psi. I mainly leave it on the 10psi one to be easier on the motor, and only switch over to the 15-16psi setting when some wants a little action.

A point worth checking, is to find out if your boost remains at/near peak @ 6000-7000. You need to have a passenger. Driver calls out RPM and passenger writes down boost. My HKS is approx. 1# over stating.
