Post Sources for caliper rebuild kits anyone?

I intend to rebuild the calipers at all four wheels, but am having trouble locating rebuild kits. I just want the seals and dust boots...no need for new pistons (and the added expense). I've got an '86 951, so that's 16 sets of seals. I've searched and read talk of caliper rebuilds, but no details. Help me stop, please!

(I also posted this on the 924/944/951/968 forum).

Good luck with your rebuild.

My mechanic did mine last year, but said he had to buy the complete kit. It sucks, but it's cheaper than new calipers!

I am not sure if they will work. I have connection with a Car Quest Auto Parts Regional Rep. My bro told me it is a kit for the 944 only, not the 951 with the bigger Brembos.

Paragon carries the OEM kit, like $180 for all 4 calipers IIRC. Not bad at all.

I bet the labor will be the biggest part of the bill by far. Makes you want to go with parts you know will do the job so you don't have to do it again a year or two down the road.
