Post Looking for Central New Jersey Mechanic

Can anyone recommend a reliable Porsche mechanic located in central New Jersey? I'm located in Middlesex County.

Thank you in advance.

Thumbs down

Bodymotion did the engine in my current car. Not for me but the PO. At 3 hrs. the leak-down was 35-40%, oil pressure 45 psi, compression 120, lots of metal in the filter, orange silicone seal stuck to the sump screen along with pieces of the green O ring which was supposed to be on the new pressure relief valve. I know about the sump screen since I was told by the shop to check the rod bearings, at my expense, due to the little metal oversight. Glad I did since the silicone could have plugged up an oil passage in the only good part on the engine, the lightened crank done by another shop. Advised to run it longer to seat the rings Also used lots of oil changes to clean the crap out. Well 14 hrs later not much has changed except one cylinder is now at 50%. Talk about a pressureized crank case.

Maybe Bodymotion means up and down on the repair lift

The next build, engine on it's way out this weekend, will be by Garrity. Bet it lasts a lot longer.

Check the guys at Autohaus. They have ads in Excellence and in the PCA Regional mag. (I think that they are in Califon.. Clifton.. oh hell.. I can't remember.) They are 30 minutes from Clinton. I picked up some valves from them and spent about 2 hours shooting the **** with them.

Excellent people, and from what I have heard, they have one of the best 930 specialists around.

Bodymotion in Ocean, NJ exit 105 on the GSP is the place to go in my opinion. I have been to many shops and have never found one that has the knowledge, ability and customer service that Bodymotion has provided me thus far.
