I love older more well paid men< LOL one of my SSG's who works on VW's alot told me he would let me borrow a device he has. Dono what its called but its like a snake light but with a camera built into it, and his snake magnet thing. Should help alot. I will try to post pictures or video of my findings later.

Well I used his tool an couldn't see anything wrong inside the cam tower area. I will try again hopefully at a better angle. The noise pretty much died down I heard it when i first turned on the engine. The car runs really smooth. Upon giving it throttle there is no noise but when you let of you can here it as the RPMs slow down. But it only did this for the first part of being on. After I gave it a short test drive it went away. You can't really here it much at all though. Strange.

Burning Brakes
I have the same thing going on..on cold start tick rev up engine nothing then when engin slows to idle a rattle noise in the front of the engin. I thought mine was louder on the balance belt side tho
