Importing European Cars to the US
After extensive research, I found out that you can import any European car to the US as long you meet the US requirements, so some modifications will need to be made to the car. for more info please visit <a href="http://www.expataccess.com/Netherlands/Import.shtml" target="_blank">INFO URL</a>

You found a good source.
Pls note that the part: import to NL, no duties, does not apply to you.
The car must already be in your posession for min 6 months before you move into The Netherlands.
(It is considered as "furniture" (Yes, thanks)).
BVB consequently will be applicable if you get a car from outside NL.
