Brett.. Yea, black would be best for you, on a light car. The effect would be similar to mine, the light blue car with the black decal. It does look good. From what I've heard, it was a factory option made available in 1989.

Then again, maybe the light decal would be best.. Your call. Thanks to whomever I ripped this pic from!

i would like one, but for me black might be toooo much on a guards 86 951, i would love to see the lighter sticker on a red 951 just for comparison..

Black on a white car, you betcha!! White on a red car, I don't think so. It would get a "pink" hue to it, white+red=pink, so I wouldn't even consider that. As the earlier pic shows, black on red is the way to go. Remeber, it isn't solid black..the red shows thru and it fades out toward the rear.

I'd love to see a black one with a black sticker... nice and subtle.

The Porsche Dealer here in Calgary charges $195.00 for the black Script. Canadian or $125.00US or so.

It was an option for my 90 952 at $75.00 Canadian new !

PS Hey Dan, thanks for all the pictures !

Heya DP North! How's it going? Keeping warm enough? Your name came up in another discussion about the 90 951 production, did you see it? Some other Canadian said you were the guru.
Glad you like the pics, I do have quite the archive and am glad to share.

PS.. what's the status of that item you were going to get me a copy of?

Hi Dan, I have not been around much. Too much work so I missed the other discussion, I think anyway.

I was at our last PCA WRR meeting and was told I would be getting my original copy back ! I will try to get it on Friday or Saturday and get a good copy to you. ASAP, I had not forgotten. I still have not got the top, Thought I had one but they changed their minds.

It has been really warm here for the last while i.e. it was 65 F' last Wednesday, but it is to get real cold on Monday, i.e. -25, Car is in storage awaiting lots of parts in the next month or so. Beeen buying my xmas stuff over the last three months.

Lastly I have had a real dificult time getting on the board, taking 10 - 15 trys?
