My 88 944ts is chipped and has the LBE and my stock boost guage reads right on 2 (1 bar-14.6lbs). I recently found out that the guage has a stop set at 2 so you don't know if it 2 or more. Without intalling a better boost guage does anybody know what each extra lb. of boost generates in hp? I feel at 1 bar (2) I was making 250 hp at the rear wheels and when I return to the dyno and see ten more hp about how much more boost might that result from (1,2,3 lbs)?

i had simmilar experiance i suggest put in the aftermarket gauge right away. my needle stoped at the 2 bar limmit also.when i put the gauge on i found i was putting out 25 pounds of boost with the same set up you have thank god speed force racing diagnosed the problem over the phone or i would have had real problems.KA_BOOOM!!!!
