My stock BOV is shot, I need to replace it. Any suggestions on which are the best?

Thanks ahead for the advice

I've heard the Bailey or Forge are very good. But, for the price you can replace a stock 993 style 3-4 times. Having said that, I'm on my 3rd 993 style, next one will be???

Do these fit right in place of the old one or do you have to make some modifications

I'm not sure if you're asking about the 993 style, or the others.....but the 993 style fits with no modifications at all.

I have an apexi twin chamber BOV on order. It is currently back ordered. It is a little pricey but I think it will sound awesome, my stock bov sounds kinda funny with the map kit. I can hear a sort of fluttering fart sound when I shift, not the coolest sound in the world.

I have a brand new, never mounted Forge that I won't be able to use because I sold my car. It is polished silver and a direct replacement for the stock valve. I paid something like $150 for it. Make me an offer.

I've got one off an early Eagle Talon. They are well known in the Ricer community for being excellent bov's.

Ive got a big fake apexi. I JUST got my map kit done and the thing installed. It yells "RICE!" every time i shift. Talk about a fluttering sound! Its louder then i ever thought, louder then the exhaust, engine, whatever. I guess i will let it stay because i already modified my intercooler ducts...

If you are looking for a stock replacement but want something that performs better we sell these. We have used them in our 600HP 996TTs and on everything from an in shop 944T to 930s and Audis. They work really well, are all billet and carry a lifetime warranty. We will be offering a shim kit in the future if you want to play around. If anything goes astray with these we will replace them for the life of the car. We unfortunately no longer are having them made in silver, rather they are black.

If you need the loud WHOOSH....I ran this on a twin turbo 930 I built. Talk about making some noise...I know it worked becuase it was dumping near 700HP of turbos
