Thumbs up Wastegate pipe to the atmosphere

On an earlier post, some one asked about having the wastegat pipe open to the atmosphere and it being too loud. Well today I went to my muffler shop and told the guy to weld a resonator tip to the end of the wastegate pipe. Wow, what a difference in sound. It used to sound like a moped without a muffler, but now it has a very nice deep sound when the wastegate opens. It is very tolerable. I like the setup because I run quiet around town but when I get on the gas, a nice low rumble kicks in. I just bought one of those resonator tips that has fiberglass in them, and had it welded onto the wastegate pipe. Very nice. I will post a picture for people interested in doing this setup.
