I got mine here:

The Forge model I used is the 007P. This is the smaller Forge valve and it's just slightly taller than the OEM unit.

I got the bigger DV006 instead of the usual DV007 people here seems to choose.
The fittings and measurements between the in/out-pipes are exactly the same as the OEM Bosch so it's also a direct fit.
From what I've heard/read the smaller 007-series are usally used by the Audi twin-turbo people whereas the larger 006 is used in a single tubo environment (larger valve there since all boost needs to come out from 1 valve instead of 2).
If you gonna keep your car stock, I'd go for the 007. Otherwise pick up the 006 and be on the safe side!

If the inlet and outlet size is the same (?) then can it really flow more air? Is the Forge big enough for a big/fat turbo upgrade? If not, what is that doesn't cost $400 friggin' dollars. How about the TurboXS type H (43mm)?Turbo XS Blow-Off Valve

I went with a Bailey valve. It is rebuildable, and you can get stiffer springs if needed.

FWIW, I replaced mine with a Forge unit but didn't notice any performance improvements. I guess that meant the original one was still working fine. I bought it cause I was told that the Forge unit was a better and more reliable unit.

Volume! I'm talking volume. The picture in Compact Car of Kurt's engine bay showed what looks like two stock CBV's. Does anyone know if any of the Forge models actually flow more air? The Bailey looks nice but seems to be no larger than the stock in terms of inlet and outlet.

My Bailey's a hell of a lot bigger than the stock BOV inlet. The outlet is the same, but it also has a larger sealing area, and no diaphram to crack and stick. It made a diffrence in lag on the GTI, and I know it will make a diffrence on mine.
I have a brand new stock one, so when the car is together, I will do a Seat Of Pants test on both.

As Superjet said: Can the dump valve vent to the atmosphere so you get that nice whoosh when you change gear/throttle off!!??
Is doing this a good idea or not??

Not in stock form. You will be blowing off metered air, causing a rich condtion every time you shift, especially on boost. If you are running stand alone and a MAP, you can vent it.
With a MAF car, you will hear it.
