Does the MY 1987 951 have a cap (cover) for the battery?

I know the MY 1986 does but suspect 1987 does not.

I am getting my newly acquired 951 concours ready for the 2012 season so I would like the correct presentation.

I found an OEM battery cover in a large lot of 944 stuff from CL. I paid $50 and the only things that were salvageable was the battery cover and a set of NA brake calipers.
