I was wondering with all of the mods I have done to my car, how much hp should I be making. Heres the list: Autothority Stage 2 chips, cone filter intake, free flow exhaust without cat and wastegate to the atmoshphere, running 18 psi, powerhaus race head fully port and polished with orings an widefire, Nology Hotwires. I estimated around 285 hp at the crank. Am I close to 285 at the crank??

You might actually be making more than that! Check out the dyno charts at Farzaan's Dyno Day and find a car similar to yours. Divide rear-wheel HP by 0.85 to account for 15% drivetrain loss and you have BHP at the crank.

The dyno site is cool.
but an 89 turbo with only APE is 350hp?
Also, 87 with only APE making 300hp? I thought APE only added 40hp? 220 stock + 40= 260? Am I missing something?

I looked at the site. I couldn't see who I could match up too. I don't know if they have more mods or something different. Has anyone dynoed their car with similar mods I have or a guesstimate? I'd take it to get it dynoed but I do not know a place in nashville,tn. Any guesses on Hp??

![Question](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Think I have figured out the difference been MAF upgrade vs. turbo upgrade looking at the dyno site.
The MAF's just allow better control and/or more air/fuel to allow better response to boost and/or the ability to run more boost?
Turbo actually makes more hp on it's own but would then req. more air/fuel as well????
Please edubacate me

Yea, I suspect the gains are in this order (the most first): turbo, K&N, MAF.
There have been several cases of high-HP cars using the stock AFM. I suspect the next improvement up is the free-flow intake available with the K&N filter. Taking out that long snaking intake tract probably helps quite a bit. Finally, you gotta have a turbo that can provide the flow. With the stock turbo running out of steam under stock boost, just about anything would be an improvement.

RAD-
Are you running 15psi or 18psi? Your post says 18, but your sigs say 15... At 15psi, I would guestimate ~255RWHP. At 18psi, I would think you would be in the ~275RWHP league.
****Wat does disconecting O2 sensor and drilling cycling valve do?****
Not sure about removing the O2 sensor, but drilling the cycling valve?- many people drill the hex fitting that connects to the wastegate- I believe that's correct(?)- to keep boost from bleeding and maintain higher boost. It sort of takes the place of shims and/or banjo bolts. Could drilling the cycling valve do a similar thing, or is it possible that someone meant to drill the other (wastegate) instead? I really don't know (can you tell?)- just taking a stab- ANYONE???
BTW- RAD- I sent you an e-mail- you're pretty damn close- if you ever get towards my end of the state, or I'm out that way, I'd love to see your car. Unfortunately, Knox Vegas just doesn't have much of a 951 scene....

Hey robby, actually I just came from knoxville, I went to University of tennesse. I am home from college now. Do you work at German Auto? Because I have only seen one yellow 951, and the owner works at german auto. I got my freeflow exhaust done there plus alot of advice.
About the psi. I run 15 psi most of the time, but sometimes I run 18 for the kicks. I just wanted to know how much I would be running around in hp. Also, if I get a new wastegate and a MAF, do you think my hp will increase?
