GT Racing rear spoiler fitment Qs
Looking for comments from those who have installed a GT Racing rear spoiler.
I just unwrapped mine and initially laid it on the hatch glass. Fitment looks like it will take some work (as I've heard but wasn't quite expecting this). In a couple places there are gaps I can stick my finger into. I'm hoping these will pull in when screwed down.
Most concerning is the fit of the leading edge against the glass. With the bottom rear (which I already trimmed a bit) resting on the back edge of the glass and the sides in approximately the correct position, there is a significant gap (~1/2") to the glass at the leading edge. I don't think screwing the sides down will close this gap as I've pushed them in by hand and this gap didn't close at all.
Have others experienced this problem? If so, how did you overcome it?
Thanks in advance for your input,
Jerome
