Angry Coolant drip--thoughts...

Dammit, I haven't driven the car much(1100 miles) since a new rad, rack, WP/belts, etc.. Took it to work today, and there is a friggin' coolant leak. The leak showed itself as 1 or 2 drops coming from the belt/pulley area of the AC compressor!! I am guessing the coolant hose directly above is the culprit, but will not know untill I can crawl underneath. In the meantime, would you drive your car in this condition?? The belt itself doesn't have coolant on it, as near as I can tell, just the outermost ring of the pulley, and it is just a seeping drip(maybe it needs penicilin). Anyone have any other ideas, like I said, I am guessing the large coolant hose that runs horizantally across the nosepiece--hopefully it is simply a matter of a loose clamp, but you know it never is.

Isn't that hose removed to do the belts? Could just be a little drippage from that belt job.

sterm,

That is what I initially thought when I was under the car weeks back hooking up the A/C comprseeor, I just wiped the pulley clean, but it has resurfaced. <img border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" title="" src="graemlins/cussing.gif" />

Loose clamp sounds right to me.
