Ian,

I wouldn't route it all of the way back. Too much weight and trouble (routing, brackets,..). You can purchase insulating sleeves and place around the fuel lines above the WG dump pipe, or wrap the pipe itself.

A good approach will be to keep the WG routed as is, but have your shop change the angle the WG dump pipe joins the test pipe. Smoother flow is what you are after.

John,

Thats actually what I meant, just do it the way the stock system does, but hopefully a little better. I would assume that having the WG dump pipe join at an angle less thatn 90 souldn't be too hard. I just need to get the car running again so I can get it to a fabricator. (but I had trouble getting a crush ring before the weekend, so alas no progress will be made the next two days, not very happy about this, but i'll get over it).

This is the way my cup car exhaust goes. It's strait through with a flang at the back that I can bolt on a muffler
