Default Whining noise while cruising?? Clutch? TT??

Hello,
I am wondering what makes a loud whining noise, only when I am cruising with very little gas, i.e especially when following traffic slightly downhill, with minimal throttle applied just to not engine brake.
Whine comes in, it sounds like it must be from the torque tube, from the tranny or from the clutch area.
If I shift from i.e 3rd during whine, into neutral, without clutch, whine stops.
If I press clutch during whine, it stops. Just a small force applied to clutch will stop whine.
If I apply throttle harder, whine stops.
Whine is like a vibrating high noise. Like a bearing without oil or similar at higher revs.

What can this be? Throw out bearing? Torque tube? Transmission? Clutch?

Any help would be appreciated.

A short video might help people diagnose the problem if no one knows off the top of their head.

We all know wifes hate our cars, so I can confirm that type of whine is kept everywhere else but in the car.
A video might be a way forward, good idea. I'll see what I can do.
