Question hard starter ?

Well thanks for all your "Hellos" and greetings. i now pose a small question..
When starting. the engine will often crank slow for a few turns then quickly then the car will start. This does not happen all the time and can often fire straight up.. any ideas?

This was my symptom also, and after going thru all sorts of grounding checks, replacing the DME relay, and crossing my fingers every time I started it for a few months, it finally died (clicking only) I replaced the starter this weekend and that turned out to be it. FYI ended up costing less than $200 for a Bosch factory rebuilt.

How old is your battery? Check the terminals and make sure they're clean.

My car sometimes cranks over slowly after not having been run for a few days and I know I'm due for a new battery.....
