I drew a pic to explain my post, but It's too large to upload and I have no software to shrink it right now.. Does anybody have adobe PS or know of a link i could use?
BUT
It doesn't appear that Lindsey's would flow very well either. I would rather shorten the length and use end tanks that have less of and accute angle. Besides, it's the number of rows, not columbs any way.

Luke, how do I post pictures direct into the post? I can only put in URL:s
I think I know how you think. We had a lof of discussions on our own forum about this IC. And I think that the stage II intercooler from Lindsey is best but it cost a lot if you ship it from the states and then it´t the core-charge
I think a front mounted should be good if the IC could get much air and the hard pipes is designed correct.

What was Lindsey thinking with THAT one?!?
The factory IC on 951's is pretty good. IMO if you clean up the flow and push more air in AND OUT of them, like on some 968 TRS', you would have to be making some pretty big #'s before it was a real problem.
The problem is that it's so hard to get a real world accurate test on them because the car really needs to be moving for it to work correctly. A high power fan helps, but, is still not an accurate simulation of the car moving at high speeds, IMO.

Johan,
Would it help at all with the shipping if you had a middleman to buy it from them and ship it to you? I would not mind if it could save you some $.
It would be cool if you added English text to the site with the pics of your car =))

I think the shipping would be better if I had a middle hand. Now I have to pay tax and custom fee to obtain the package. For ex I buy a dump valve for 150 U.S dollar when it arrives I have to pay 190-200 U.S dollar.....I hate European Union
I just talked to a friend and he got his stock intercooler upgraded yesterday with really godd results, the spool up time is much better and the torque is a little better too.
951Carter, I can change the text to English Look at this picture of my old engine

G-tech test. 8 runs and 5.3 average. Completely stock just a Lindsey boost enhancer back then...now a little better result

We have the only front mount intercooler that has been dyno proven to give anywhere from 15 to 25 horsepower at the wheels. The pricing on our website is wrong. We are now selling the intercooler package for $1195.Here are some current pictures of it.

Olli,
Now I updated the text with English so everybody can understand Swedish is a little bit foreign to our Brothers across the Atlantic ocean.
<a href="http://groups.msn.com/Porsche944Sverige/johansturbo91.msnw?Page=1" target="_blank">http://groups.msn.com/Porsche944Sverige/johansturbo91.msnw?Page=1</a>
Contains 3 pages of the rebuilding of my car.
I must say that the SFR Intercooler seems to be real nice

Pannan,
Our intercooler will not ruin the CD(coefficient of drag) of your cars front end either. I dont understand how anyone is willing to buy an intercooler that requires a custon nose panel and destroys the CD and the incredible lines of the 944 turbos front end. I guess I will never figure it out;^)
