I always thought that both the Boxster and Cayman were just glorified "trophy wife" cars.

I think the picture is great. Any idea what that white box is on the dash? Not many cars can tote a set of tires to the track, rag on the car all weekend being competitive with custom built cars, then drive it home. Hats off the Porsche.

If you have ever tried to catch a Cayman S out of a tight corner, your opinion will change about these cars. They rotate effortlessly though a corner and exit out like no 944 I have been in.

Love the ending when he passes the BMW right before the corner from right to left!

there is about 25 years of technology in between the two so you would expect them to do exactly that wouldn't you? A Lotus Elise would do the same and even a Mitsubi**** Evo, but there is a flip side to the coin isn't? can anybody tell me what's that side?

10% off if you give the right answer

Funny man Lart. That guy has some skills and the car is far from stock. From the video comments:

"89 turbo s with 320 hp big reds and weights 1100 kg. It is driving in holland in a free class, so a lot of different cars. It is a little loose on the back because the LSD is a bit warn.

And I have video of me getting "the point" from two different GT3's earlier this spring.

That doesn't mean the 944 is superior. It just means the GT3 driver couldn't drive.

I think we can all agree that as far as the car itself is concerned, a GT3 > 986/987 on any day of the week

Both those guys need a lot more seat time with an instructor. Look at the line they drive, looks like the 944 almost goes off-track one time. He did suck into the back of the car to make a nice pass, but after that he gets way off line.
