Info on Playboy / Escort Series 951's?
I'm researching what I believe to be one of these chassis. The chassis is an undercoating, a/c, sunroof delete. VIN is WP0AA0950GN152115. 1986 951. Anybody have info on these cars like you guys do on the Canadian Rothman's cars? Please post and/or Email me directly at timcomeau@***.net Thanks guys! Show me the power of RENNLIST!

No undercoating? Okay - what does it have for front and rear springs and shocks? If it is anything special, it will at least have either a 3.25 id. progressive 410 lb. spring with either a Koni double (with a little wheel on the bottom) or Bilstein shock and an aluminum threaded spring perch in the front. Get a measurement of the exhaust and what it consists of. Rothman cars have standard wastegates and control arms, so don't go looking there. Let us know.

Sounds like you are buying the car off of someone who is telling you it is a special?
You have the chassis no. and Porsche are usually very helpful if you are trying to get any history on their cars so I would try calling Porsche Cars North America...

Check for a magnesium intake and rear coil-overs. It should also be fitted with a "Matter" roll cage. Also should have manual windows and mirrors.
Even if the car has been modified somewhat these parts should still be intact.

This car is currently for sale in North Carolina (at a super cool dealer I've interacted with in the past...)... I googled the VIN as I was looking for info and found this thread. To be honest looks like a standard 86 944 Turbo to me, not a special edition. (it's modified)
