performance chips for a 944 turbo
I originally installed automotion chips and wastegate shim on my 1986 944T.
My turbo sprang a leak, and I got a larger turbo from a 1989 944T "S".
I'm now running this combination very leisurely for risk of gong lean.
In 1986 the 944T had 24 pin chips
The new larger turbo S I've installed is from a 1989 944T S, which uses 28 pin chips.
Apparently the chips I need to run the bigger turbo on my 1986
are not the same as would be used on this same turbo in a 1989 944T
Autothority has the best reputation but they're asking $495 for a pair of chips
So what I want is to buy a pair of chips (preferably autothority programmed)
to run the bigger turbo on my 1986 brain.
