Looks good...

...is it me or does it look like a model though?

Nice car... looks mean and tough. I love the look of the flared rear fenders with big wheels.

But your right... It does look like a model..
I wonder why?

It has to do with how the picture was taken. The aperture was set very large (small number, lots of light) and this caused the background to be blurry. I'd imagine that this was intentional.

Question

that car looks very good. Does anyone know what wing that is or do you have any more pics of the car? Is that the gt racing front chin spoiler or stock turbo s?

Thanks

Here's the same car again (I think...)
Although you still can't see the rear wing very well....

Actually, I kind of partial to the stock wing painted body colour... like this one...

I really like the looks of this car umm! umm! Does look like a model in the photo though.
Looks like a GT Racing LeMans rear spoiler($241 2 yrs ago). I like the color better than my red 944T.

Paul,

When you say you like a can that is a huge compliment, considering that I think you have the best looking 951 that I have ever seen. In fact if I ever get the money the body of my car will look a lot like yours.

That wide body car has got to be "slate grey". Sure is nice looking. Im gonna pick up a set of those cooling ducts. WHERE did I see them last? They were like $120 for a set!

I'd like a set of those brake ducts as well. Anyone know where to get them?

Man, what a gorgeous bunch of cars! I too thought the first pic looked like a model, but I dissagree with how it was done. I completely understand the depth-of field idea, but it doesn't compute, as things the same distance away have varying degrees of "fog". I believe this pic was simply modded with some good photo retouching software. Take a close look along the top back of the car and you may see some more hints. I'm going to experiment with some of my pics and photoshop to see if I can replicate the effect.

It looks great either way..
