Stephen,
I have swapped the 968's with 944 handles cause one broke and it would have taken quite a while to get the 968's. They look similar (mech) just remember to insert your key in the lock when putting the original tumblers on the new handles.
regarding the tire sizes with a widebody kit I would go with a 11 inch rim rather than a 12 that I currently have I think it is too much unless you can get a nice size on the front. The next time I purchase tires it's going to be 265/295 or as close to that as I can rather than 245/335- CAN YOU SAY PUSH!

Well, I can give you a lead... The shop that prepped that car for racing is in Norwalk, Connecticut. Their number is: 203-847-9339. The place is called Speedsport Tuning, and you can find 'em on the web @ http://www.speedsporttuning.net
Actually, the car is being sold for $28k (if you check the for sale section).
From what I hear, they rock...it's definitely my first choice for a Porsche mechanic that knows their stuff (and I also live nearby ). They do everything from simple maintenance to race preps (as you can find in the pics). Good luck on your quest!

The back has widebody flares, but the front stock. Gives it a nice tapered look. My brothers 931 has the same slate gray colour. Very nice.
The wing looks to be a lemans, but could also be one of the many offered on the Strosek rear hatch. I don't know, because I can't see it from the angle of the photo. BBS RKs, also very nice. I'd be interested to know who made the flares.
