Pressure plate wear
Hello,
I think my rennlist virginity goes here. I have a '86 951 with 220k kilometers, and rebuilding the engine atm. Since I'm on quite a tight budget, i would not like to spend too much money on a clutch, if my old one is still in a good condition. The problem is, i don't know when it has been changed, and what has been done to it. The disc is 8.4mm thick (how thick is a new one?), so that should be fine. Is there a way to know it the pressure plate is still any good?
