Why do I always have odd ones…
When stuck in London’s stop and go traffic for an hour or so my clutch slowly but surely disappears to the floor. It bites just off the floor. After I park the car for an hour or so it returns to normal. Clutch is new - 15,000 Km on it (No I do not abuse it, I usually get about 80K of my clutches), we bled the system 2 times, changed master and slave cylinders – no difference. In normal circumstances i.e. not stuck in traffic clutch works spot on. (so it must be heat related?) Totally puzzled…and annoyed!

I agree. Check to make sure the line is not loose, or if any heat shields seem to be missing. Also try changing to DOT 4 fluid (or DOT 5, but be careful of silicone based DOT 5, they do not mix at all with other DOT 3, 4 or 5 types). This will require flush of the clutch and brake systems. The DOT 4 and 5 will have higher boiling temps.
