Awesome pictures Josh!! And also thank you for helping me out with my timing belt problems and for allowing us to meet up at your place before the event! To me that was one of my favorite parts, cruising down there in our group.

Josh B - Great photos of the event and it was really good to see all of the 944s represented. Most of the guys around here have turned them into SP1 or SP2 track cars. Good to see them out on the street.
Black51 - Smithmotorworks is right, the 968 spoiler on my car is covered in 3M Di-Noc Dry Carbon wrap. I was planning on either satin black or guards red paint until I saw the carbon work done by Billy at www.beemerevolution.com. He said the compound curves were a pain but I think the finished result was worth it.
Robstah - I enjoyed talking with you about your V8 conversion. Really gives me something to think about now that the cosmetics are done...
Even though the event had some gaps and confusion, I still had a great time meeting people and seeing a lot of great cars. After the laps it got a bit disorganized and I did not get the chance to talk more with the 944 group. If you are in the Greenville, SC area on the 4th Saturday of the month, I run a the Cars & Coffee of the Upstate event. The details and pics of past events are on the Facebook page at www.CarsCoffeeUpstate.com. Check it out.
Let me know if you have any events in the northern Georgia area and I will try and get a group from Upstate SC to join in. Here are some pics of my 944, the work done to date and the carbon fiber spoiler.
I hope there is a Mille 2012...

Black51: Sorry for the delayed reply, I have been traveling. The enclosures are fiberglass. Used the door map pocket as a base. In the doors are MB Quart QM 218.61 Qs (6.5" mid and 1" tweeter). The map pocket area holds the crossovers. I attached a pic of the door in progress.
In the rear side panels are MB Quart QM 215.61 Q 5.25" mid and 1" tweeter. Just needed to cut some metal behind the panel to make them fit. Nothing shows on the outside of the panel.
The amps are mounted on the top of the ported subwoofer enclosure that replaced the back seat. It houses 2 MTX T5508-04 8" subwoofers. The Precision Power 275 amp drives the mids and tweeters and the Precision Power 450 drives the subs. A stereo shop in Greenville, SC did the custom work.
azbanks: Thanks for the comment on the car.
