Post bbs wheels

I just picked up a set of 3pc. bbs wheels bolt pattern is right. The sizes are 16x7&8. et on front is 23, et on rear is 11. does anyone know if they will fit on an 86'951?? or early 911 ??

Not a 100% positive, but I think they're right on for your '86 951.

They will fit, I have BBS RG wheels and they have the same offset, but they are 7.5 and 8.5 widths, on my 86 951.

Yes, those will fit perfectly! The 11mm rear offset is to make up for the missing 21mm spacer that was used in the pre-'86 cars with 23.3mm offset. I haven't been able to get a straight answer out of anyone why Porsche left off that spacer in '86 (on NA car too). This ends up creating a wierd visual effect where the rear wheel is inset into the fenders about 1" more than the front... bizarre....

Should I install a rear spacer? 1/4" or so??
