Timing belt rubbing..need help!
Hey..the timing belt was screeching really bad and when I disassembled everything I noticed it was rubbing against the cam housing plate. Is there a reason as to why the belt could be rubbing in that spot and is there a way to adjust it from not rubbing

Were the belts / rollers done recently? Forgot if it was the tensioner or pulley on the crank, but if either one is installed backwards it can let the belt walk towards the engine and allow it to rub the cover.

MK 951 watch the entirety of the above three videos. It will tell you all that you need to know. There really isn't a better way for us to help, than these vids. It's all speculation without being there. Whatever is wrong will be crystal clear if you watch closely and compare to yours.
Once you have, send a pm to Van and say thanks! He did ngreat work on these vids and they should be part and parcel of the 951 owners guide.
Good luck and report back.
