Question Was this fuel line installed correctly?

Had a shop finish up my Rennbay basic fuel line install.

The line in question is the one from the damper to the hard line. See how it is at a ~25 degree angle? It looks like it keeps it off the intake, but I don't remember it being cocked like that...

thoughts? I have to have them redo some work anyway for another issue, didn't know if this was something too...

Thanks RL

*edit*

Ha, found this photo of the original and it is straight... so what gives?

Can I bend it back or just leave it alone?

How old is the jumper line? I have a brand new one that I don't need if you are in need of a replacement.

Darwin, procedure to install a damper line, do you remove the damper or the whole rail to replace it?

Jumper is about 2 days old. =)

Shop should have told me if the rail should have been replaced, no? Second photo is from the ORIGINAL line, so do not use it as a reference

Days. All 3 lines (Feed, return [Rennbay], Damper [OEM Porsche]) were just replaced Friday. Remember, first pic is new, second pic is original (as per corrosion, and NOT being cocked).

Ok, just making sure! I have one sitting around and hate to see old brittle ones on there.

Lart, you may have some trouble getting to the bottom connection if you leave everything installed. I installed mine when I had the rail removed, but I would imagine you could disconnect the line from the rail, and then remove the damper to get to the lower fitting.

Very generous of you Modded, I forgot to add. (I'm sure it would have been competitively priced!)

I have seen cracked fuel rails by the damper mount, I am assuming that happens when removing the damper since is such a pita to take out, I always thought it was better to remove the fuel rail to change the damper line.
