Bruce, you're welcome to drive my '89 951S, although it's not for sale. Suspension and brakes are mostly stock, but power is up to just over 300rwhp.
Turbo S's are rare in Colorado, though I'm aware of several that changed hands locally last year. The only S's I've seen here have been at the track.
It doesn't take much to make the S's fairly competent even for track use. I considered a non-S when I bought mine, but the S upgrades are really nice and adequate unless you want to build a race car.
Grant's car has some nice suspension upgrades and is very well balanced on the track, yet still uses stock springs/torsion bars. Definitely faster than mine in the corners.
