Replacing AC low pressure line
Hey Guys,
I'm replacing my AC low pressure line on my 951 and am having trouble getting the old hard line out from behind the brake booster and firewall. Any ideas? I've had this car for going on 9 years and it seems like everything on these cars is a PITA. My 964 is much easier to work on.
Thanks,
Chris

Yeah I have found these things cars to be a PIA to work on myself! But if access is the issue maybe a basin wrench will help?
I used it on an AC line on my Tercel worked like a charm!

Still working on it. I had to cut the old line in a few places to remove it and I am still fighting with the new line. I had to take off the heat shield, and some wires... and had to bend the brake lines. Anybody ever done this?

Update, I got the new line on. I had to undo the clutch hydraulic line, throttle cable, intake, heat shield, wires, bend the brake lines. I still have to put it all back together...and bleed the clutch, recharge the AC. Moments like this make me want to sell my 951 and buy another 964. Don't ever try replacing AC lines, it's not worth your sanity.
