So I can get an Escort Solo S2 for $150. Good deal or meh? I've seen them compared to the V1's a lot in the past, but it's been a while since I've looked and just kind of stumbled across this. I've always liked the V1, but am thinking this might be the way to go if I want to use a single unit across several cars?

Save your money. The Solo S2 is an old unit. And it didn't exactly offer stellar performance when it was released.
