I have an 86 - 951
I am suffering form hesitation on full boost. <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[crying]" /> acually it started a few weeks ago at 1 bar. but now is playing with me between .6 and .8 .. Im thinking that it is a fuel problem so I ordered a filter and ill install tonite.
mods. 88- 951 autothority stg-2 chips, msd-6,
also. when i instaled my msd-6A it started hesitation at .6 bar. but when i un-plug it, it will hesitate at .8 bar. is the MSD compatible to the stock computers?
any advise as to when I should go before I start throwing the book of parts at it?
new parts. recirculation valve, ignition coil "msd blaster-6", exhaust gaskets, oh and a oil pickup tube

Hey -
Could be fuel related, so I'd check the fuel rail pressure, fuel damper and pressure regulator.
Could also be a vacuum leak, especially if you just replaced anything near vacuum lines.
I'd check her over real carefully for vac leaks, then check the fuel system.
HTH!

hybrid_944,
im with toolmaster, check your car over for any vacuum leaks. check all the vacuum lines, and dont forget the rubber conectors to the intercooler, throttle body, and turbo. i had hesitation also at full throttle and it turned out to be a lose hose clamp on one of the rubber hoses to the intercooler.
take care,
Sean
