Actually it finished 7th overall (323 laps) and that was with slicks. 11th overall was 2nd 924 Carrera GTR (315 laps, also factory entry).
"BOSS" car spent the least time in the pits of the whole grid.

The BFG radial street tyre car competed in 1982 finishing 16th overall and 1st in class (273 laps).
